Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement,” and Vinyasa yoga is a series of poses that will move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling. Vinyasa movements are smoothly flowing and almost dance-like. Like all styles of yoga, Vinyasa has both mental and physical benefits. Physically, sweat expels toxins and re-energizes your body. Mentally, the synchronized breathing relaxes your mind and helps to release any blockage of energy flow throughout your body. Practicing in a Hot Infrared Heated Room will further assist in detoxifying the body using heat that warms the objects in the room (us) rather than just the room. The result is, the heat targets and absorbs deep into muscle tissue and joints, healing the body, relieving of chronic pain. Hot yoga at Studio 44 is a fun experience! Come check us out!

We offer the most advanced technology for our students in our beautiful, historic building. Infrared Heat is a new form of heat therapy raising awareness in athletic and medical communities. Just like solar heat, infrared heat warms solid objects rather than the surrounding air. Practicing in a hot infrared heated room can stimulate an anti-inflammatory response in the body that can relieve arthritis and fibromyalgia, decrease pain and speed the healing of soft muscle tissue damage.
