Hatha Yoga All Levels
Thursdays 7:00pm – 8:15pm with Melissa
This class is perfect for students who are brand-new to yoga and want to start right at the beginning, for those with some experience who want to spend more time on the foundations of yoga practice, and those who prefer slow, steady practice and time to move slowly in and out of each posture. Hatha focuses on the fundamentals of alignment, breathing (pranayama) and mindfulness in foundational yoga postures and will lay the basic groundwork for students to then step into all other classes offered at Studio 44 Yoga Centre. Hatha Yoga allows you to take time in each pose to develop a deeper understanding of them and encourages a slower mindful pace for the movement between them. Heat, strength and focus are balanced with gentle opening and letting go in the body.
